Update: - Same problem with a new/different mainboard and x86_64/dfly263/smp. - No problems with FreeBSD-8.0 and both mainboards. - Same problem with a second system built with new mainboard, new process, new memory, new power supply, and a different disk and case and again x86_64/dfly263/smp (not sure about up). - I have used the new system with x86_64/dfly273/smp for some hours now, without any problems. So hopefully, I am again a DragonFly user...
