The main porter of ZFS to FreeBSD is Pawel Jakub Dawidek (probably spelt a bit wrong) aka [email protected], who is most certainly still alive, and continuing work on ZFS, HAST, GEOM_GATE, and other interesting storage stuff. -- Freddie Cash [email protected]
