Can you try completely wiping out the maven-plugins/corba directory and rerunning "svn up" to get the latest? I've seen issues with svn updating files if the files only change by case. In our case WSDLToIDLOption.java -> WsdltoidlOption.java. Sometimes it doesn't update things properly. I would suggest completely wiping out the directory and reloading it and then a "mvn clean ; mvn -Pfastinstall" and seeing if that helps at all.
Doing all that does allow it to build on my Mac, but it was failing yesterday prior to the fix.
