Hello, I'm reading Manning's SOA Security book, which despite its 2008 copyright pretty much is three or four years old. At any rate, for web service security the book is highly recommending usage of JAAS[1]--but I don't see it much in use today, at least not via mailing list searches. Does anyone know, is JAAS still an active technology in regular use, or has it been largely supplanted by other technologies?
Thanks, Glen [1] http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/security/jaas/JAASRefGuide.html -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Is-JAAS-still-much-in-use--tp18382952p18382952.html Sent from the cxf-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
