You are missing the stax api jar. We ship the geronimo-stax-
api_1.0_spec-1.0.1.jar which should have that class.

Hi there !
Glad to join the users list, as I founded CXF as the exact tools
stack I
needed for my app.
I tried it following JAX-WS simple tutorial (
http://cwiki.apache.org/CXF20DOC/a-simple-jax-ws-service.html), and it
worked very well.
But I wanted to put it a little bit further with no annotations, so
I tried
Simple Frontend with Aegis Databinding.
I get this Exception at runtime (I really think this is NOT a
classpath
problem, as I use Eclipse to manage my projets, and I added all the
jar libs
in the CXF distribution package to my classpath) :
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
javax/xml/stream/XMLStreamException
at info.shinkan.test.jaxws.TestJAXWS.main(TestJAXWS.java:18)
Here is my code snippet :
package info.shinkan.test.jaxws;
import org.apache.cxf.aegis.databinding.AegisDatabinding;
import org.apache.cxf.frontend.ServerFactoryBean;
public class TestJAXWS {
public static void main(String[] args) {
WSImpl ws = new WSImpl();
ServerFactoryBean sf = new ServerFactoryBean();
sf.setServiceClass(WSImpl.class);
sf.setAddress("http://127.0.0.1:9009/Test");
sf.setServiceBean(ws);
sf.getServiceFactory().setDataBinding(new AegisDatabinding());
sf.create();
}
}
I get the same error without using Aegis Databiding.
Can I get some help for this ?!
I thought this really disturbing ...
PS:
- I (try to) make things work on Windows XP. I didn't try on GNU/
Linux, but
all went well with JAX-WS simple tutorial as well.
- I compile with JRE 1.5.0_16 (this is required as my project will
have to
work on this one)
- I use Eclipse 3.3
