There're serious bugs in cxf-rt-bindings-jbi and cxf-rt-transports-jbi that cause cxf to never respond to jbi's delivery channel in the case of runtime exceptions. Especially in JBIConduitOutputStream and JBIDestinationOutputStream.
I think i'll be able to post a fix for that in a couple of days.
