Or just do it through Spring. Either have your impl class implement ServletContextAware or if you don't want to tie it to a Spring interfacen then remove the @Context from the setServletContext method and add a <property name="servletContext"> <bean class="org.springframework.web.context.support.ServletContextFactoryBean" /> </property> to your RestAminService bean.
