I also use IntelliJ and found it very easy to use CXF with it. You just
need to create a new project (Idea 7 or 8) with Web Services support for
Glassfish / JAX-WS 2.0 / Metro.

In IntelliJ 8 they also added SoapUI which can generate stubs for Axis,
XFire, and also CXF.

If it only had a good WSDL and XML schema editor like Netbeans!

It would be nice if IntelliJ or CXF authors added support for Apache CXF

IntelliJ. Why am I writing about it here? Because if more people ask for
it,
there is higher chance they might support it in the future. I think
currently
support in IntelliJ for web services is not very good, and that should
change.
Apache CXF is a great web service stack, that can grow faster if it also
has IDE
integration.
