Hmm. Well, I double that any of the existing committers have an appetite. If you'd like to take a run at enhancing simple/aegis in this direction I'd be happy to be sympathetic and apply your patches. I doubt that a JNDI dependency would be met with much general enthusiasm, but I could be wrong.
