Another interesting result.  I decided to try creating my own annotation
interface, making it identical to "Path", and adding it to the "Catalog"
class and rerunning the test.  Guess what happened?  All of the tests
for annotations on the Catalog class only returned the annotation I
wrote.  For some reason, the JAX-RS annotations are invisible at
runtime.  The JAXB annotation and the custom annotation are both
visible.
