Dan I got it to work on the latest 2.2.3 CXF version. I don't see a way to set the mbeanserver in the 2.1.3 version. The 2.1.3 version does a lookup of a mbeanserver with a name of "org.apache.cxf".

If using the latest CXF releases, there is a "usePlatformMBeanServer" true/false flag that makes it just call ManagementFactory.getPlatformMBeanServer() which may just be the Weblogic one. Not really sure. You may also need to set createMBServerConnectorFactory to false. If you know the MBeanServer name for the weblogic server, you can set the serverName property and it should look it up. Hopefully that provides some information for you to try.
