Well, did it correspond with a JDK change or JAXB version change.


I know for a while, you were hitting a 2.0 version of XJC.   2.0, by default, 
basically did a -npa.     However, I've also seen that error on windows 
sometimes with some of the older javac's that were looking for a particular 
case in the file and somehow Windows created slightly differently.

That said, in a lot of ways, I wish -npa was the default.   It's much more 
reliable.
