I came about this through Google as I was struggling with XmlAdapter as well... assuming this would be a basic 101 tutorial, as it was titled, "A simple JAX-WS service<http://cxf.apache.org/docs/a-simple-jax-ws-service.html> ". Anyways, I too think that the documentation could use some refinements. I do realize that coding often takes priority, considering the limited resources.... but if any Apache CXF members could pass through a couple pages of the user guide and do some minor tweeks to work with the newer version of CXF... that would be cool! Thanks!
