Hi Aris, sorry for the late response. I do not completely understand what you mean.
So you say the 2.4.0 code for Spnego works? That would be great already as I was not able to test it.
So you have other code that worked before and does not work anymore with 2.4.0. Can you post this as a small maven project then I can take a closer look at it. Much has changed in CXF 2.4.0 so it is well possible that you might have to adjust your code too.

I tested my working code with 2.2.6, 2.3.4 and 2.4.0. 2.2.6 and 2.3.4. worked just fine. 2.4.0 throws that XMLStreamReader error. When changing to the "new" 2.4 code (with SpnegoAuthSupplier) SpnegoAuthSupplier is correctly called and Header shows the Negotiate Ticket. So basically it's not the added Supplier. Seems more Like the XmlSchema 2.0
