My observation so far is that the cxf.xml which contain the configuration
isn't loaded despite the bundle is up and running. The configuration is
under ../META-INF/cxf/cxf.xml;
Is it correct place for cxf.xml ? It will be very helpful if you can give me
a pointer to a resource (demo/wiki page) where I can find an example 2.4.x
setup.
All the JAX-RS demos Talend Service Factory distro[1] ships are run
standalone or in OSGI. Most of them rely on cxf http-osgi transport,
jaxrs-jaxws-transformations demo shows how web-bundle can be deployed.
Perhaps having a dedicated CXF OSGI section on the wiki would be of help
- we don't have it yet.
What I don't understand is why you ended up explicitly listing many core
CXF beans in your own configuration - there were some significant
changes to do with loading buses, transports, etc, so perhaps the
explicit config causes a problem during the migration.
