Hi Christian- So I've thought about your approach, with regards to forward compatibility and disabling of schema validation, and I think it might be the best I can do. However, before I throw in the towel I'd like to ask you a couple of additional questions.
1) What if enabling/disabling client side schema validation is not in your control 2) Have you actually utilized the @XmlAnyElement with schema validation enabled and actually gotten an older client to work with the newer message without recompilation? Any tips? I'm having an extreme amount of difficulty in getting this to work.
