I have figured out the problem to be a wrong namespace and port details in the jaxws:client. Also I have used the WSS4JOutInterceptor instead of the ws-security tags.Everything worked like magic!!! I would like to know if there is a good tutorial on the apache cxf site related to the use of ws-security tags instead of the interceptors approach. I could not upgrade to Maven as of now but Ant still works for me.
