I think that you may have a fairly involved setup which might expose
some potential issue with the way interceptors associated with a given
client are picked up. You can definitely try an alternative client api,
however I'd like to know what is exactly is happening, why the
interceptor it not chosen. Btw, in the debug mode, you should see which
interceptors are added for a given chain
