Hi, XML schema validation is failing in 2.7.7, which used to work in 2.7.6 and back to 2.5.3 (at least). It is complaining because voc.xsd includes datatypes.xsd which includes datatypes-base.xsd which includes voc.xsd, which is recursive. The thing is, as far as I know, recursion is perfectly legal in XML Schema 1.0 which is why the old validator code never complained about this. Specifically, the following section (3.8.6) says elements can be defined multiple times indirectly (recursion) under the heading "Schema Component Constraint: Element Declarations Consistent": http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#coss-modelGroup The inclusion semantics section says nothing about recursion being illegal: http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#src-include Is there a way to shut this off in 2.7.7 and revert to the schema validation in place for 2.7.6 and earlier?
