The Apache CXF team is proud to announce the availability of the latest patches: 2.7.11, and 2.6.14.
One very important note: there will only be one more planned 2.6.x release. If there are any important fixes needed, get them in ASAP. Users are strongly encouraged to start moving toward 2.7.11 or start testing with the latest 3.0.0 snapshots. Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and develop services using front end programming APIs, like JAX-WS and JAX-RS. These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP, JMS or JBI. This is mostly a patch release to fix problems and issues that users have encountered. 2.7.11 fixes over 65 JIRA issues reported against 2.7.11. See: http://cxf.apache.org/cxf-2711-release-notes.html 2.6.14 fixes over 20 JIRA issues reported against 2.6.13.
