This was directly closed as a won't fix, but I reopened it and still think
it is a serious issue.
It would probably help raising this issue if you could also comment on jira
on your problems with this.
I think putting the warning in the subject would draw more attention to your
thread, by the way.
May be it should be a FINE message. I was doing a demo against Google+
(apparently HTTPS without the certificates) and I saw this message too...
