Hi, I'm trying to understand the reason why StaxOutInterceptor always sets FORCE_START_DOCUMENT to true if it uses preset XMLOutputFactory from the message contextual properties - see org.apache.cxf.interceptor.StaxOutInterceptor.getXMLOutputFactory(Message).
I'm using a custom XMLOutputFactory and would like both to use the stock StaxOutInterceptor if possible and not to force start document by default for compatibility reasons. Current code apparently makes this combination impossible and I would appreciate if anyone can explain the reasoning behind this.
