Hi Harald, I'm sure that the demo app "fedizhelloworld" will be supported on Tomcat V8 at some point in the future.
Until know there was no one with the ability and the need to migrate the existing version from Tomcat 7 to 8. Contributions are always welcome! You can also ask for professional support from one of the companies which are contributing to this project to get a solution in the near future.
