HiCXF integrates with Swagger2 and the original older Swagger. We'd like to remove the old Swagger code on the master only as it does not make much sense to carry it forward. I'm thinking it is quite safe to remove it even from 3.1.x as it appears unlikely that there are still users there who haven't migrated to Swagger2.
But we can limit the clean up to the master only, hope that will be OK for the users.
