client to communicate with web service

I already have soapui make call/test the Web Service being hosted at the other 
end. In other words soapui is successful in reaching out to the Web Service and 
various operations have been tested fine.
 Now I need to write a java client which can make the web service requests. Can 
someone provide me pointers as to how cxf can help here? (wsdl is available)
