The Apache Daffodil team is planning our next upcoming release, which will be version 3.2.0.
The main feature of this release is the ability to compute checksums/CRC/parity bits for data formats that require it. A time frame goal is to release it early in December 2021. (This is already a bit of a slip from our hope to finish it in September.) That means we need to identify any blocking or critical issues now if they are to be fixed in time. (See our JIRA tickets here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/DAFFODIL/issues) So, if there are specific Daffodil bugs/tickets that you need fixed then please... (a) please raise discussion of them here or on the dev list (b) consider fixing them - we can always use more developers contributing to Daffodil, and existing developers are willing to help out with the Daffodil learning curve.
