Happy to announce that Daffodil, as part of Smooks <https://www.smooks.org/documentation/#dfdl>, has been promoted to a component in Apache Camel <https://camel.apache.org/> v4.7: https://camel.apache.org/components/next/smooks-component.html . Thanks to this development, it's now even easier when integrating systems in Camel to leverage Daffodil to parse/unparse EDI, and more generally, flat-files.
