(OOo 1.1.4 & 1.9.69) I have data in rows in a spreadsheet, and would like to
copy it to a table that already exists in an MS Access based database. I
don't seem to be able to do it by drag-and-drop, it either wants to make an
all new table or put all the data into a single field.
I can do it in MS Access using it's import wizards but would like to be able
to do it from within OOo. If nothing is out there I might have a go at
writing a little macro/wizard myself becasue it's something I will be doing
a lot of for this particular application. In a perfect world it would go ...
* Select data in calc
* Press Calc-to-Base button
* Opens dialog, set various options
* Copy data (based on options)
-Where no key exists, make a new row in the table
-Where key does exist, row is updated
- Failures (broken keys, types etc) would be marked in Calc
Does something like this already exist?
