hi Rod Theoretically yes but I have found that the core package gets installed first and the others follow meekly behind. >From the command line (as root/su), in the folder with the rpms: rpm -Uvh *.rpm should work. This will install files in the /opt folder which is why you need su permissions. When you first run the program /opt/OOosomething/program/soffice you are walked through some setup screens and a folder in your home directory is created. hth regards from a white CH Martin
