Hi Phil,

I've just tried this on my Linux box with OOo 2 beta, mysql 4.0.20 and
MyODBC 3.51.11 and could not reproduce any of the faulty behaviour you
mentioned. All of the dates showed up correctly, even when I changed my
language settings to UK (my default is FR, and I have the French version
of the beta 2 installed).

I even tried a series of other dates that could potentially have been
misinterpreted by OOo - all of them came up fine. It is interesting to
note that even if you enter date in a non-standard way, e.g. 3-5-2004,
the date displayed correctly.

Alex
