The MDB file is a Microsoft Access file. These are not able to be read by OpenOffice.org. This is due to the lack of documentation and information sharing on the file format and has not been implemented. If you wish to convert a MDB file over to a Base database file, then you can extract the data etc, but some parts will have to be reconstructed by hand.
