In case it's an embedded database (using the HSQLDB engine), this is in
fact not possible, since it's hard to provide a good,
expectation-conformant handling for the embedded data then.

If it's not an embedded database, but linking to a external DB, it's
still possible: "Edit|Database|Connection type"

Well, the idea here is that the application UI is the main entry point
for database work, the data source browser is only for integrating data
into the other applications.

Depending on how many users insist on using the DSB as main entry point
for database work, we might be forced to rethink the concept in the
future :).

Feel free to submit an RFE, and to get people to vote for it :)
