The only way around this problem I've found so far is to select the pointer tool in the forms toolbar, and draw an area corresponding to the whole area covered by the controls I want to change and then select the font. The problem with this approach is that it appears impossible to draw a selection zone that goes beyond the margins of the page of the form. If you have controls with text labels that overlap the margins, like I have, you can not select them with this tool, and thus there properties can not be changed via this method. BTW, this is with 1.1.4, I haven't tried with 2.0, so I may be shooting myself in the foot.
