Hello users,
I am using Base, and finding it quite nice once I got use to it.
I am using the report wizard to make a report using 4 fields, A,B,C, and D. I wish to use A,B, and C for grouping and then have the report list a record for every unique value of D within that grouping. I have accomplished that...but I also want it to put a pagebreak after each grouping. The strange thing is that I think I had picked an option to do this earlier...but now it isn't doing it any more. The templates I have found insert a pagebreak after the top level grouping, but I want a page break after every grouping. [that is, after each of the lowest groupings]. For example, let's say that A was month, B was day and C was hour, and D was "transactions" [This is not the actual situation...I just want to give an example that does not require listing a data table]. Then the templates I have been using would put a page break after each month, but I would like a pagebreak after every hour, so all the transactions of a given hour get their own page.

After you create the report with the wizard open it in edit mode. You can place your cursor in any row of the table that makes up the body of the report, group rows or detail row. Right click, select table and on the Text Flow tab of the Table Format dialog you can adjust page breaks for each group level and the detail level.
