Does either you or your friend have spaces or non-standard US characters (i.e. non ASCII 127) in the path name to the directory where the file is stored.If so, that might be the cause of your problem. You should decide on a common name for the storage of the ODB file that doesn't have any of these weird characters in it, until the problem can be fixed.
