I don't know about getSolarVersion and this, but in the past, the
relationship was:

OOo 1.0 = SO 6
OOo 1.1 = SO 7
OOo 2.0 = SO 8

OOo A.B.C = SO (A.B) + ProductPatch C
(e.g., OOo 1.1.2 = SO 7 + ProductPatch 2)

Not sure if it will be this way all the time, though ...
