You might want to switch on ODBC tracing in the ODBC options (in the Control Panel), and see what is preceeding the error. Probably, the best thing I can tell you then is "we need to investiagte this more deeply to see whether we can fix it" (where the worst thing to say is "the trace is of not much use"). In anyway, it's probably a good idea to submit an issue to ensure that the problem doesn't get lost. (Don't have access to a Sybase installation right now, so I cannot dig into it ATM.)
