I'm not that experienced with databases, but connecting with a MySQL is
not that difficult - provided the right driver is there.
In OOo choose File|New|Base.
Then 'Choose connect to an existing database'
Select MySQL, choose Next etc.
When you have problemswith teh driver, a search in the archives of
[email protected] [1] might be useful.
