Hi Juraj,
One solution may be would to write a macro which opens a Calc document
with a data range connected to your database and export it to dbase
after a refresh.
I'm not familiar with the Calc API but it should be possible.
Best regards,
Ocke

When you do this export are you creating six new files ( could also mean
purging and populating only with exported data ) or are you updating
exisiting records and inserting new ones?
In my part of project I want to use OOo as frontend to fill patient and
samples data from my department. I will use embedded HSQLDB or MySQL server.
At the end of the month I have to send our data to manager of hospital
project to further processing. As he uses program build by FoxPro2.6 for DOS,
the data have to be in dbf format. So my problem is to make some querries and
transform their results to dbf format.

as I know) impossible with dbf files in linux I have to export once a
month data from base file to six different dbf files for further
processing. I can do it "manually" but it is intended as a work for
people who are able only put down data in form and push the buttons. Can
anybody help me how to do it as macro? I have no idea.
