A second question, related to this problem, is about the ability to use
alias inside the same query for further calculations. As you pointed
out, the limit is due to the HSQL engine and not to Base. Do you think
we can hope that this feature will be available in a not too far future?
Not very likely. Since HSQL is a separate project, I of course don't
know what they decide to implement with highest priority, I can only
express wishes :). But even on my wish list, there'd be other, more
important (IMO), things ...
