Do they - I hadn't noticed.
Perhaps it's nostalgia. After all dBase, albeit under an earlier name,
did power up Voyager, and thus also V-ger.
Besides, I grew up with dBase and I am still somewhat attached to it's
programming language and style. I used it a lot under DOS.
And YES, I have migrated to generic SQL, although I don's use it much.
I am not trying to be a smart-alik there but personally I surprised it is
supported at beyond being another datasource type via ODBC - but I am MS
Windows centric.
By the way, MS doesn't really have a database. Access is more a report
application with data storage attached.
I have just recently moved away from MSAccess completely.
