I am not sure this would be a good idea. A document management system,
in my opinion, is a beast of its own, with very own requirements. Using
a database backend for this is okay (well: essential, perhaps), but
using an end-user database application ... I think the requirements are
too different. Not that it couldn't be done, but it would leave the
scope Base is currently aiming at (and where still a lot of things wait
to be done).
