thanks for those insights :), and pardon me that I don't comment in
length (you'll note me being rather silent those days, my engagement
here is somewhat low these days for other reasons which I hope to vanish
sooner or later) to this mail, your previous mail, and the ones to
follow :).

Just a quick note:

With 2.2, Basic/UNO dialogs are localizable. Don't ask me for the API
details, I only know the fact as such ...

With 2.3 (probably), there'll be a possibility to also have localized
string lists (basic the localized Basic dialogs without the dialogs and
controls :)

So chances are good that at least with 2.3, you can add L10N support to
the file. You probably need to ship the localization files separately as
long as the embedding of macros/dialogs/string_tables in .odbs is not
supported, though.
