[dba-users] How to reconnect after timeout

Hi,
after some time of inactivity (working with forms) the connection to a 
server db(Oracle) is closed by base.
To reconnect, I have to close the whole application.
Options/base/preserve connections only allows setting a value of max 600 
sec.

Any other ideas?
