[dba-users] emulating DATEADD in HSQLDB

Hi everyone

is there a way (without writing a java class, simply using SQL) of 
emulating in HSQLDB (OOoBase embedded engine) the date_add/dateadd and 
date_sub functions supported by others RDBMSs?
