Hmm.

When you say "a Base ODBC driver", do you mean an ODBC driver which
enables arbitrary ODBC clients to access the data stored in an .odb file
(which is how I understood it), or do you mean an ODBC driver for your
database (MySQL), which enables Base to access this database?

If the former: there is none (that's what I tried to say).
If the latter: Try with your database vendor. MySQL, for instance, offer
up-to-date ODBC drivers at their download center. Whether or not those
are Vista-capable is beyond my knowledge, though.
