Just like to add that I have had similar issues with tables created directly in
OOO Base (not connecting to Access).

Queries seem to run very slowly when joining across multiple (e.g. 3) tables.
My tables were small approx 8000, 2000, 100 rows respectively.
The SQL and indexes are fine (I have 4 years experience with both Oracle and
Teradata, and am not doing anything complex- so I don't think it is my table
design or poor SQL that is causing things to run slowly).

By slowly I mean it takes minutes to run a query when I was expecting it to run
in seconds (as I said small tables). I assumed this was just OOO Base and
decided to live with it ....
but if there are any thoughts about why queries run slowly???

Darren
