Why is saving the database a problem for you? Yes, an auto save option
exists in tools>options>"load/Save">general. I'm not 100% sure but I think
this will autosave according to whatever time you set. Perhaps someone else
can clarify if I'm wrong but it should be that simple. What is more
concerning is, I understand when you do something in Base, it causes the PC
to restart? Never heard of this? What kind of things are you doing?

Subject: [dba-users] Why if I don't save database I loose datas in saved
table?

I'm a poor database user but I want to create a database and happens that I
often create errors in OO odb and the sistem restarts. For this reason I
save tables and forms or queries, but this is not
enought: if I don't save the whole database I loose newly introduced datas.
How I can manage this problem? There is an autosave function? I just spent
the afternoon introducing new data and now I've to start again...
I hope you can help me to find a solution.

Betta

P.S. I have OO2.2.1 on MSWindXP v5.1,Sp2
