Well, not necessarily. There is a major push going on right now to re-architect the whole OO.org domain. One of the big goals is to make a more end-user friendly experience, while at the same time continuing to support the developers and contributors.
One of the factors is to make nice clean breaks between end user documentation and developer / contributor documentation. It may be that you will want to work with them to get the end user under there directory structure, while maintaining the separate Base root for more technical articles. Especially with the work the Frank and OJ are doing to open up the possibilities for Base extension writers. But you will need to coordinate with those teams.
