Hi Alexandro, > Well if there is no formal roadmap is there a wish list?
Not documented anywhere, sorry. You might consider this lame, and you'd probably not bee to wrong with this :). I see to find the time to put it together. >> We're about to define the next milestones of the report builder, which >> still is important work in progress. > > Is report builder going to become an official part of OOoBase? This is beyond the development team's competence, again: sorry. >> Besides this, "macros in .odbs" is aiming for 3.0. > > That's good, any words on reformating the way the forms work using the UNO > toolkit as opposed to the writer workspace to generate interfaces. Not reasonable for 3.0, as I see it, unless we get more developers. This is a huge task, and 3.0 feature freeze is early next year. > I think there are a big wishlist from the OOoForum.org regarding this > module specially innovating things by merging Base with XForms module (not > merging but connecting them together). No plans. As much as I regret this, the XForms support is not being actively worked on. > Also import and export is highly waited by many db users. I am currently working on issue 81658, which is to make the Copy Table wizard available as UNO service. When this is done, Marc and/or Drew better get their fingers onto an extension using the service to provide import/export facilities, given that they begged me for this functionality :))) (Just kidding, guys. You could of course also find somebody else doing it :).
